MCG vs. Neil Cube action?

I think I can do (with Excel and maybe a little OTB) the match equity calculations in a straight race. But the gammons confuse me and then recube vig makes it even worse. I'm going to have to re-read John O'Hagan's post many times before I understand it. I just figured out how to calculate gammon price: (g-w)/(w-l) in terms of match equities. p.s. Just got over 1900 for the first time on FIBS! I'm retiring.
