Stick: Can you easily stop, save, and resume a rollout with BGblitz? Frank:Yes, Yes, No. When you stop it it is stopped, not paused
With GNU the rollout is also stopped, not paused, but it is very simple to restart the rollout. Perhaps I didn't employ caution when choosing my words, if you stop a rollout in mid run can you easily restart said rollout?
Frank:Why in the world no parallel rollout, if started from one position? First, if you use 1-ply it is so fast you don't care (much). If you use 2 or 3-ply BGBlitz uses several CPU's anyway. Second it would have been a lot of work and because it's in most cases probably not important I do other things.
I agree that rolling out with lower plys it likely doesn't matter because it will be done so quickly but I think it's a superb feature of GNU that it rolls two or more plays out in parallel. Perhaps I'm the only one, others can speak up, but I think this is a very important feature.
As always, appreciate the work Frank...
