Clocks Allowed at local club

Regarding the observation that Barry's club had its highest attendance ever, personally I made the decision to drive up and play mainly because my wife was out of town and I had a bunch of free time on my hands, not so much because of the clocks allowed policy. Having said that, I would have been open to playing with the clock (I never have previously) to get used to it since that seems to be the future of BG tourneys, but none of my opponents had one or even mentioned the possibility of playing a clocked match.
