To add to what John said...

The 61 hitting number on the 8 point is now strongly duplicated (in fact I'm not sure which 61 play is correct.

Also, 52D is not in my opinion a great priming play, though it is a good attacking play by bringing all of that wood to bear in the outer board. So holding the ace point here does not risk as much in terms of the need to grab an advanced anchor to avoid getting primed as it would if there were some more well placed builders. Later, if splitting does become warranted, it will be less risky to do so with the strong 3 point home board.

I'm still playing 21(2) at GS.
