Katja doubled, I thought for awhile, then passed, which earned me a ticket to BK. Katja thought this was a huge pass--almost TG. I did note that a lot of her position was a gammon threat which can be effectively killed if I enter quickly and rewhip to 8, but my position just looked too trashy to take. Sometimes I will enter but get trapped off the bar, sometimes I will enter and bust my board, when things work I will enter and escape and still have three men to weave through the outfield, and sometimes I just won't enter at all.

Clearly the score makes a big difference here and the fact that I often get to throw an 8 cube back and Katja has a dead checker on her deuce point should have indicated that this was takeable. I had only played 2 games so far vs. Katja, not sure if I gave her credit for being a strong player up to now, but I should probably take this vs. most decent players, and should certainly take against Katja.

I redouble almost anyone here--I might have taken if I was playing Neil, but I might have passed too.
