Your analysis is supported by the Snowie MET. Blue's doubling window opens at 48.3%. Blue's gammon price is .70 whereas White's is only .20 with the cube on 4. White's take point window is 24.3% -26.5% which is considerably higher than for money. Apply these to Matt's rollout wins and gammons and it is easy to see why it's a large error not to re-double.

Applying these met numbers OTB is the hard part. I found it extremely difficult to estimate gammons both ways.
