While the w/g/bg-breakdowns are "only" affected by the problem that you describe, gnubg goes completely nuts when it comes to calculating the cubeless equity number in matches. See this message in the gnubg mailing list. I don't quite agree with Christian's bottom line, but I would say that if you want cubeless equities, probably it's best simply to do a cubeless rollout.
