This is an autopilot position OTB. But when its a quiz you consider the less obvious.

9/3 8/6 deserves serious consideration as it prepares to clear the 6 point and the few shots it risks is not much of a risk at this point with 3 on the roof and nothing but a blot across the board. The major risk in these positions come from the opponent lingering on the bar for a long time and hitting a late shot after several points have been cleared and the checkers enter quickly and there is little to keep them in the air after all of the loose hits that will ensue while trying to contain. Clearing early and allowing the checkers to enter quickly is thematic. It sure seems like the "quiz answer".

That said, I know I would play the boring 9/3 8/6 over the board, so that's my final answer.
