Time warning for digital clocks

Pascoe's was an interesting case history in Michigan. He had played an interminably slow match with the infamous Harvey Gillis which resulted in each of them being put on a clock thereafter.

I next played Pascoe, his first match ever with a clock, and he was an absolute basket case playing frenetically. He finished with an immense amount of time left.

Then, in perhaps his next match, against UBK, I guess he adjusts his pace after having so much time left in our match, and times out.

So, I guess it takes a few matches to get the feel of the required pace. I've heard he has said he'll never play with a clock again. Second-hand. I don't know.
