Time warning for digital clocks

I understand your point, but most likely if your flag dropped your opp will notice it soon and almost certainly prior to his flag dropping or you winning the match.
Possibly, but I have drawn many blitz chess games after my flag has fallen (at least it feels that way--many more than I should have). Don't remember if I have won any after the flag has fallen. I haven't won/drawn any games this way in a tournament with longer TCs, but the point is basically the same. I would almost certainly lose every game after a flag if there was a warning at 0-30s. I'm sure that I have also failed to notice my opp's flag. This is more applicable to chess which is a much faster paced game when it gets close to the end--both players are scrambling more than they would be if they had a 12s delay--but it still doesn't seem like something I'd want in the long run in serious tournament play.
I don't know whether there should be official language to govern stuff like this or if it's just the option of the players (or owners of the clocks).
I still support a 1 minute warning, at least for this year and/or next while everyone gets used to clocks.
I'm not really opposed to it if it's understood as a transitional period, not sure whether it will be or not.
