Time warning for digital clocks

We need to get input on the intent of directors with clock mandatory events. We've heard from Patrick. What's Jeb think, though his tourney has already passed this year? More importantly, what is Bill Davis' stance for the Crystal Beaver? And, since he has been contributing here, and is a major topic of discussion here lately, what is Chiva's stance with his clock mandatory later rounds at his U. S. Open (which might also represent European input to the question)?

I'll send out some e-mails. We need to find a consistent, recognized solution.
