Making the 2 point can't be better than making the defensive bar point. The real question is whether to hit on the 14. Personally I like hitting here especially noting that white's midpoint is stripped and the return hit will be costly. An extra builder for the outer board is not a bad thing here. Breaking contact and racing given our inferior position and racing lead after the hit is not a bad gameplan.
