OTOH if we burn two checkers, and leave him no bad numbers next turn, we will probably need break the 6 point next turn, meaning that even getting lucky and hitting later, will probably be of little use. I am not even sure if we really lose much more gammons by running now while we still have the remnants of a threat.

23/14 feels right to me
