Ridiculous cases make bad law

I don't see the relevance.

I've seen easier plays gotten wrong. So there is a chance that a player could get this wrong, and in fact a lot of players would get it wrong. The chance of winning after the error does not matter as long as it is not 0.

So I still am wondering. Is it objectionable to you that a win is claimed because the correct gin making play is obvious to you (even though it might not be to some)or because the winning chance is so miniscule even after the miscue?
