Forfeiture / flag falling

...the match is over as soon as one player flags, and anything that happens after that is null and void, including the opponent flagging or reaching a gin position.
As the rule is currently written, yes, that would be my view. However, if the opponent fails to claim (a win on time) in a timely manner, it may be difficult to reconstruct the sequence of events. If the flagging player later reaches a gin position, the onus will be on his opponent to establish that the position wasn't gin when the flag fell.
In the 62 from the bar example, if Blue hasn't punched his clock before claiming, then he can show that White's flag fell in a non-gin position. After he punches his clock, it may not be so easy.
In this interpretation, it's clear that best practice is to set up the clock so that both clocks stop running as soon as either flag falls. What do you do if both flags are down? "Okay, guys, take as long as you want."
