Hmm. Yes, you raise a good point. We can't have a player calling gin in a 3 roll bearoff and play it out with real dice. It must be alleged loser of gin position (i.e. player who did not run out of time) calls all rolls until the game is over (finished or conceded). Then, even if it was gin, the player still gets the opportunity to screw it up and lose the game.
