I like to have about a 30% GWC to take at this score with fair gammon risk. White's two back men have not moved. This alone gives me the impression that the game is winnable. It is possible for Blue to anchor and began to prime and/or build a board. White's two back men allow time for such.

P.S. My daughter played in her first AAU basketball tourney this weekend. This prevented me from attending the entire Lisle tourney. However, I attended Friday night. I do not know if I am more happy that I won $68 in a preliminary blitz or if I am more disappointed that I missed Neil. He had left by the time I arrived. However, it was a pleasure to meet some of my other great teachers - Chuck Bower and Gregg Cattanach.
O.K. I thought about it. I sincerely would have prefered to meet Neil than to win that $68. :-)
