In fact, tournament matches are occasionally played on Snowie. Phil Simborg does this when he can. Some tournament matches on Snowie are played with pip count displayed. Others are played with pip count not displayed. I don't see a valid point here. Information is equal between the players of EACH match. Why does it matter if information is different across different matches? Should we disallow playing on high quality backgammon boards since some players only have low quality boards?
