4 misses = 4+ wins, but let's call it 4. We need to get to about 8 and we're already more than halfway there.

32 hits = how often does Blue win after hitting one checker? Probably in the neighborhood of 50%. That means 8 times out of 32, or 25%, Blue has to not hit the second checker. Does that sound reasonable? It does seem to. Plus White can still win after getting both blots hit.
