Not quite right. World Championship events started in 2007, the first 10k World Championship event being the 2007 10k PLO.
Then in 2008, the first full range of 10k World Championship was introduced, eight in total.


2008 - Eight 10k World Championship events (+ 5k 7CS/8, 50k HORSE)

2007 - Seven 5k World Championship events (+ 10k PLO, 3k 7CS/8, 50k HORSE)

2006 - No "World Championship" events, but six 5k events (+ 10k PLO, 50k HORSE)

2005 - No "World Championship" events, but eight 5k events (+ 10k PLO)

2004 - No "World Championship" events, no 10k events (other than Main Event)
