6/3 What are we saving those guys for? The bearoff?

Probably the last time my son played backgammon was 3 years ago and he was 7 at the time. It was about the fourth and time he had played and he looked at a situation like this and remarked "if I could get some of those extra checkers on the 6 point hit they might be more useful". Damn shame he can't stand playing this game.
