Giving him a 7 and basically ending further contact is usually best in these situations. I don't like the blot in our board afterwards but is is rarely a big deal. If we instead leave him an 8,9, or 10 and he hits with that double it may be a true joker.

Not much at stake here, but I play 15/12 3/2
