I don't follow that. Isn't GNU supposed to be analyzing the W, L, and G percentages for each of two situations: (1) Neil cubes to 4; and (2) Neil retains 2-cube? It seems obvious that Neil will win signifcantly fewer games when he cubes to 4, as (a) he will no longer be able to cube out his opponent; and (b) can be cubed out once his winning chances fall below 25%. I think it's also true that he will win more gammons when he cubes, but those should be more than offset by the additional losses. (Otherwise he shouldn't turn the cube in the positions.) If he cashes at 2, it should mean that the gammon chances are outweighed by potential losses. But in any cases, if he cashes, he cannot be credited with a G.
