This rollout is whacked out. You want to close out a checker. You make the 5th point and start the 6th, meanwhile holding a 5 prime just in case. Blue now has no good rolls, entering just adds another dog to find the fox. Adjusting the parameters or ply levels on rollouts that don't make any sense end up with better results.

In later/earlier posts I have heard the tendency for the bot to mishandle many checker off positions on 2 ply. Certainly not the ply to roll this position out on then, is it?
