Down 30 pips argues for the hit, and holding the cube we are not in danger getting cubed out with a return-hit/dance sequence.

Given 18/17*, I prefer to continue with 17/12 leaving 1s and 2s off the bar (both entering numbers) instead of 1s and 6s by lifting the blot. 12 hitting numbers instead of 16 numbers.
