I said I would pass this one, but if it is that close, then I believe you ought to take it... and benefit from any checker play errors your opponent makes. Problem here is, it is Richard Munitz, who must be in the top 5 in the USA as a checker player. However, even HE is probably playing around 1 to 2 error rate on checkers and that MUST make up for the error in taking here.
In addition you have some quite juicy leverage with that cube! It's the LC anyway, and nobody is right on top of his game then. Expect your human opponents to play this a bit soft, (not hitting loose and such), protecting against shots/turnarounds/losing the game. He knows you are poised to redouble on a moment's notice... So if you take you can surely get his equity below 1.01 I believe. If he gets 95% of his plays right, even, it must be a take for you.
