Noting that you are 17 pips down after this roll I would try to prime his back men by bringing two down off the mid-point. When it works it gains more than the other options. Splitting risks a lot when white is able to POH for not a lot of gain, 13/8 is less risky but has little gain and doesn't put any pressure on white, allowing him to freely develop his board or race as the dice dictate.
