Blue's 20pt anchor is huge.

Also important is that blue has three home blots, mostly on low points, where blue doesn't want to make a point, but doesn't want to get hit either, especially vs a four point board.

Also important is that blue has what Chuck would immediately recognize as TMP, i.e. Too Many Points, and not enough spares which means not enough flexibility.

Also important is that blue has no home board points.

Also important is that white is on roll (ugh!).

So does that great anchor make up for all of blue's liabilities? I'm not sure, but with two white checkers back, it is amazing how often that means that white has too much work to do for it to be a pass.

I'll make a crying take here, and be prepared for some BK.
