Amusing clock reactions from first-time clock users

I've experienced traffic delays in New York, both on the road and in Backgammon.

Is there an analogy in backgammon to rubbernecking? I think there is. I've seen people with matches to play standing around watching other matches or talking about plays or looking at the computer with people that have completed their matches. People need to be aware that just because they are not currently where the traffic problem is, doesn't mean they are not in the process of causing one.
