I don't recall ever having made any general statements regarding Brit players.

I have met and played several UK players (I never know exact usages of Brit, Scot, English, UK, etc., so forgive any mistakes in that regard). I have played Peter Bennett and John Slattery once each -- both very nice guys and competent players with impressive histories. I've met Julian Fetterlein and watched him play though we've never played. As I said earlier, a nice guy with an impressive record. I've met John Clark and, of course, he has quite an impressive history. Another UK player, his name escapes me off the top of my head, won one of the WSOB tourneys last year -- might have been the Nordic Open. There are obviously many more Brit/UK players I've not met and/or don't know of. So, I think they have a representative share of accomplished players.

(..... and though I've neither met nor played Rachel Rhodes, I find her quite attractive .....)
