This is one of those situations where it is not absolutely clear about the cube action, with so many factors to consider - gammon cost, match equity, positional advantage, window of opportunity. I find it interesting how large an error it would be to recube this. I suspect if you move a couple of checkers from a low board point to the 20pt (for the cuber), then it probably is a huge redouble, just because of the gammon cost.

Chuck thought awhile on this one, and did not double. Another of Chuck's excellent decisions - as proven by the rollout.

So, what are we now Chuck? 1-1? I look forward to our next encounter, and may my dice be equally as good as this time :)
