C (Cross) The offensive half of the play Crosses the bar. The other half advances the back checkers. C is a part of the acronym used for doublets: BEACON.
I think the best place to start with Nactation for doublets is at the beginning (of BEACON). B (Both) means playing Both up (with the back checkers) and down (to the outer board) on the same play. This is the most common move with 33, 44 and 66. And, it is sometimes seen with 22. I find B a lot easier to remember than C which isn't as common.
