Personally, there's nothing I hate more than this kind of behavoir. Unfortunately, it is all too common. I think there is a limit to what can be done. In the future, you might call the tournament director on the basis that your opponent's monologue is an attempt to intimidate and disturb your play. You could give a warning (friendly or otherwise) before actually calling the director. I don't know whether or not anything would be done. It's worth a try.
