It's okay by me. Backgammon is supposed to be fun. Winning is fun. Winning in front of your son is more fun. My 16-year old son watched me have the good fortune to beat MCG in Pittsburgh and now he wants to get into tournament backgammon. This isn't the NFL. You shouldn't get penalized.

Of course it can be overdone but a simple moment of glee after winning a tough match is not a problem for me.
