in situations like this you can easily get 4 times their $200 offer. it's not like they are REALLY giving anything away, anyhow. they are just giving you a seat that would probably be left empty on the later flight. I've found that if you tell them what you want and not listen to their puny offers, you're much more likely to get what you want.
