As much as I'd like to step up with the four, I don't think it is worth leaving the escaping direct 6, nor wrecking my board (and still leaving the inderect for another blot.

11/7 saves the blot, and still leaves me with some pips to play, and only one blot back. His board isn't closing easily, I will probably get more chances to jump,and in the meantime all his rolls don't play that easily either. Having the stronger board may open up for many pick-and-pass or hit-back scenarios.
