Take it and fight for the points. You are already behind. If you assume your opponent to be weaker, then it is MORE imperative to take, I think. They will make more mistakes and give away more equity, even if the position is technically a pass. That is a contrarian view to the conventional wisdom I am sure... But conventional wisdome is merely an oxymoron. Takers are hard to beat.
