Position 217:

Splitting off the anchor is very very wrong, and probably wrong even at DMP. It is slightly better to slot the bar and try to make a full prime, paying off to the potential shot/hit/16 rehit joker sequence.

Move number 5: Blue to play 12

Position 218:

As is often the case in mutual holding games, Blue is running out of time, but running off the anchor is very wrong.

Position 219:

Ripping is clear here and probably slightly better at DMP. Blue is probably a bigger favorite to get hit later on but by the time he gets hit he will likely have several checkers off. And, of course, Gs pay double.

Position 220:

Making the ace point is best here. Blue's game plan isn't to prime White's back checkers, it's just to keep him on the bar until Blue is bearing off.
