Forceful doubles.

I threw a forceful type cube in one of my crushing losses this weekend. Here's the situation...
I am losing the match, my opp has rolled doubles about 25% of the time so far (my first two opps also rolled like this.. I managed to beat the first one bcuz I managed a couple late winning hits to catch up and rolled well the last couple of game..but the 2nd took me down).. anyhow..continuing on..I get a 44 took break contact in the holding game up a few pips, next roll lose a pip, then I get 65 vs his 21 and I then forcefully shoved the cube at him in a very flippant manner.
My opp then shoved the cube right back at me! I looked at him, and he said," How would you like me to cube you like that?". Hmmm...it took me about 2 seconds to realize that he was correct...and I appologized, while stating that this was very rude of me.
My point here is that maybe it isn't too proper to shove cubes forcefully at people in serious play ?!?! Anyhow..I knew that I'd been a dickhead, got called out on it, so I appologized. The match continued without incident as I continued to get blown off the board by doubles including in this race after he took. (it was proper clear pip count oriented D/T)
Next time, I think I'll be less of an ass, and just cube quickly by grabbing the cube and placing it on the board.
