Interesting Cube v. Ray

I remember thinking this was interesting too, but I had 7 checkers off and I was two away. When someone doubles you in that position your take point goes real low to the 18-20% range. So while I was realizing that this can't be nearly as good as having my remaining checkers on the lower points as is often the case in the aftermath of a backgame I decided with 7 off, I was worse, but not THAT MUCH worse. Besides, you could crack immediately with 44, which you actually did roll, but only on the shake after this one. It was still bad but not AS bad.
Anyway with a chance to crack, no chance to get gammoned and 7 checkers off, I just stopped thinking. Petko asked me about this while I was at the airport this morning... So I put it into Snowie, because it was easy and fast.
Snowie gave me over 27% win equity in the diagrammed position on evaluation. I didn't try to roll it out.
Then I put your spares on the 654, and checked that only to find that my GWP went down to like 15.5%, (on eval). So, it occurred to me that if you had waited to double me, then you could have lost your market... So your double was perfectly timed in that respect... But in another way, maybe not because I have a feeling that I would not dream or imagine that my GWP dropped below 18% and I am a "taker" so I would've scooped and found out I had made a blunder later.
Nice double, Sticky. I am anxious to see the rollout results.
