It's pretty clearly a take. Rod is ahead by twelve pips and has a better board than you. Your structure is now awkwardly frontloaded and your back checkers stranded and forlorn. Many numbers leave unpleasant shots and allow Rod to attack. You could even get gammoned here, and it doesn't look like you're going to win many gammons. Still, his back man is a lonely and vulnerable chap, like a mime at the Sturgis rally. I think this is ND/T but I wouldn't be too surprised if it's double-take.
