Good points. Especially about the psychological issues. If Neil doubled (and he may have... no spoilers from me) I would have taken. But not for those reasons, though. Clearly the favorite, too much can go wrong for Blue for White too pass. Bringing home those 2 stranded Blue checkers ain't a cinch.
