My point being that the MET was not made up with an awareness of the current board position. It HAS to consider the effect of gammons, and backgammons.

With 7 checkers borne off, I didn't have to adjust for that... So my take point is probably even LOWER than the MET equity table would suggest, since you can't assign even one HALF of ONE gammon to this situation not to memtion 7 or whatever the program assumed when it compiled the MET.
