Neil: I saw 4/3 5/2 but immediately rejected it since there's only aces to make the prime if I don't get hit.

Ray: Not only aces, Neil, but also fives. No telling where Rod is going to be after this roll, but 45% of the time it will still be on the ace point and a 5 will maintain a 5 prime and move it IN on him. Besides there ARE 10 aces to make the 6 prime, that is not insignificant. But then neither is your vision which I trust is better than mine!

Breaking anchor can be devastating, on the other hand... when he rolls double aces or something, (like you did to me twice in our first round match)... Now HE is rolling on for a gammon, owning the cube. Or, maybe he has decided to take a chance on this game against the great Neil K, and redoubled based on your poor rolling and anchors away play? The anchor is for insurance, the double slot can still win when you get hit, and people are less likely to rewhip it to 4 when you own their 5 point.
