I have never seen anyone more sloppy with his checkers than you, Rod. You throw them and the cube around flippantly. You also mess around with the dice between turns... pushing them with your finger idly while thinking. Then you put your hand on them as if to pick them up and continue thinking... Sometimes dragging them towards you. Then when someone rolls while you are doing this you give them a stern warning. You did this with Frank Talbot in Cleveland twice, and you did it with me in Cleveland and Charlotte. Nobody in their right mind has ever challenged Frank or my integrity in backgammon in the 27 years we have played before you showed up. You called a director in Charlotte on me, claiming that I rolled before you touched the dice... several times. When your own videotape evidence resulted in a ruling against you because you dragged the dice 3 inches towards you on the board, you were then and still are now unrepentent. You still have never sent me the snowie or Gnu evaluations of ANY match of mine that you were allowed to videotape, and that is a violation of common courtesy if nothing else. I never charged you to do it, even though it would not be particularly obtuse for me to make you pay for those lessons.

Dragging the dice to provoke an early roll could be perceived as taking a shot.

Pushing them around with your finger while you think ought to be strictly prohibited, and you will never ever do that again in a match with me without meeting the director face to face.

Work on your own weaknesses before you get vociferously critical of others. David Rubin is a supreme gentleman OTB, and he must have followed the rules to the letter and won fairly... Or else you would have won, because I am SURE you would have cried wolf again. Or did you?
