I met John this past weekend at the Cleveland ABT event and he then emailed me asking me about boards. While I've looked at them and own a couple I'm certainly not the best person to ask, so I directed him here figuring others may have multiple boards or at least some insight and all of you aren't pulling your weight, now get to it before I have to fire somebody.
If you want I'd consider selling you my second board. I wasn't really thinking about it at the time of your email nor am I actively seeking to get rid of it but I must admit, I only take it to tournaments now so that others can borrow it if they need a board and never play on it myself. You can see it new at the link provided below which is where I originally purchased it from.
I think it's 3 years old now and hasn't been used a whole hell of a lot. I've taken decent care of it and I've taken and uploaded pictures for you in case you're interested.
There should be 8 pictures there you can view of both sides of the board, both open & closed, with & without checkers. In picture #4 you should be able to view the biggest flaw of the board. On the left side one of the points has torn up a bit. The cups that come with this board are also no good. They are as shown with the new board, they are not lipped. I'll give them to you but I'd highly suggest getting cups from Carol Joy Cole (CJC).
You could see the board in person before buying from me, just let me know if you'd like me to bring it to a tournament. I always take it to tournaments I drive to but do not take it if I fly. (but can)
