Not true. The US rule means you have to complete your full roll and play beginning with zero deductible. This almost always could be handled in well under 30 seconds.
Also, the Danish rule means you lose 30 seconds of your reserve time, and then STILL have to roll and make your play, thus eating into your reserve more than 30 seconds.
The Danish rule is 30 seconds more harsh than the US rule in all cases.
