Thoughts OTB

OTB I knew this would be a pushy cube to throw, but felt that my really good sequences would lose my market. This is also a position-type that I like to play, and I felt that I had gained momentum know, having come back from 0-3. I also may have been influenced by thoughts that I may have missed a couple cubes earlier.

Anyhow..I sent the cube here, knowing it was pushy and at best a borderline decision. Rod took it and we got to play a somewhat complicated game where I pushed him back into a 12 backgame and his timing collapsed and I G'd him to take a commanding lead.

My pushy cube was somewhat vindicated as GNU dinged Rod for several checker errors later in the game (errors not Whoppers) while I avoided errors.

However, looking at this position in fresh light, I doubt my cube was correct with few crushers and Rod often having good counterplay. My position would be lots stronger if my 4 prime were from 4 thru 7 rather than 5 thru 8 here.
