You don't need a whole lot of extra equity in addition to the ace point game. I figure you rate to make a second anchor more often than not, and when you don't you can always fall back on that ace point. You may get gammoned, but hell that happens to you 13% of the time from the starting position.

The implied odds of cube leverage alone ought to overcome any deficiency the bots decide you have in the position. Since average Joes will be making three or more mistakes on checker plays bringing this game home... I doubt a whole lot of players, even very good ones can achieve an equity of higher than 1.000 in this game. Even if they can, they also need to have steady nerves for the many 4 cubes they will be eating later... as a result of doubling with a 2 point board that is stacked and not poised to improve for a few shakes.

Nice take, Neil... Considering all the human factors. I would take this against anyone without a second thought... and not care if the bot was critical of my decision.
