In Response To: Early game cube from the 3 man team tourney in Northbrook (neilkaz)

Based on the rollout and the complexity of this game from White's side and the nice gain in keeping David playing I'd make the same decision to take again.

OTB If I felt taking would roll out to be clearly a Whopper I'd have passed since that is just too much equity to give up, noting that if we get G'd here we hate it and there's no more chances for opp's cube errors.

Also if the opp is just somewhat cautious about attacking our chances at a 2nd anchor go up and it isn't that hard to get needed timing vs weakish players. Contrasting that with getting G'd or even BG'd here if things don't work out is difficult. Had David's replacement for the next game been as skilled as David I'd also have passed.
